A bathroom refresh in West Lafayette, focused on replacing the shower without gutting the rest of the room.
The new shower is tiled floor to ceiling in a large format stone look tile, closed with a sliding glass door on a brushed nickel rail. Inside, a rain head and a handheld on a slide bar run off separate controls, and a recessed niche lined in mosaic tile gives two shelves of storage so nothing has to sit on the shower floor. A bar runs across the back wall at grab height.
The existing drop in tub, its tile deck and the cherry panel below it were all kept, along with the tile floor and the window. That is what kept this a refresh rather than a full remodel, and it is often the right call when the layout works and only one fixture has aged out.
